Founded in 2016, Kargo operates a digital marketplace that links independent truck drivers, fleet owners, third-party logistics firms, and commercial logistics providers to business customers across Myanmar. The platform aims to address the country’s historically fragmented logistics sector by offering transparent pricing and on-demand access to freight capacity. Kargo now oversees the largest commercial logistics fleet in Myanmar, boasting a network of roughly 2,000 drivers and having completed more than 5,000 deliveries to date. The company’s service enables businesses to book shipments quickly while drivers receive reliable job flow. With newly secured financing, Kargo plans to guarantee same-day payments to its driver network and broaden its customer base. Financially, the firm has previously attracted capital from Seed Myanmar, Cocoon Capital, and a private venture fund, in addition to winning a USD 50 k grant from Singapore’s Startup SG Prize. These funds, combined with the latest loan facility, position Kargo to scale operations and strengthen its market leadership.
