Entellus Industries specialises in producing rare earth metals—particularly neodymium-praseodymium (NdPr) metal—and bonded powder alloys. Its Chennai operations include manufacturing plants in Tamil Nadu that target high-performance applications such as automotive engines, transmissions and permanent magnets. The company is expanding into sintered alloys, enabling it to supply components that can withstand high stress in critical industrial and automotive systems. Management claims Entellus is the first firm to verifiably demonstrate these technical capabilities within India. The current expansion is expected to lift capacity to roughly 2,000 tons of magnets per year, strengthening the firm’s push to make India a global rare-earth magnet hub. To date, Entellus has raised about $17.5 million in disclosed funding, including a prior $12 million round from Social Capital and the latest ₹50 crore infusion led by ZeroW.
