Fundiin provides a consumer-friendly, zero-cost buy-now-pay-later product that lets shoppers get items now and pay in three interest-free monthly instalments. The company launched its BNPL product in mid-2020 and serves over 100 merchants, including large retailers such as Lug, Vua Nem, Mat Viet and Giant International. Fundiin says its service can increase merchant sales by up to 30% and has reduced cart abandonment for partners. The startup recently announced a partnership with Sapo, expanding access to Sapo’s 100,000 merchants. Management plans to use new funding to expand operations, strengthen the executive team, and accelerate growth ahead of an upcoming Series A. Demand from consumers and merchants is described as surging, coinciding with several key hires.
