4StudentLives

Temecula, CA, United States

Overview

4StudentLives provides a digital hub that centralizes K-12 threat assessments, suicide risk assessments, risk scores, and ongoing management plans so school safety teams can collaborate and track interventions. The platform enables standardized online assessments, notifies relevant staff, and helps teams build structured support plans involving administrators, counselors, school resource officers, and social workers. It integrates with widely used threat-assessment frameworks such as the behavioral threat assessment and management (BTAM) model and gives district leaders visibility into emerging patterns across schools. The company began going to market in August 2025 and has secured contracts with school systems in California, including county offices of education and court and community schools. Founder and CEO Adam Bangerter developed the product based on years of experience in behavioral health and residential youth treatment. Financially, 4StudentLives has raised a $600,000 pre-seed round from Startup Ignition and intends to use the proceeds to expand into additional states and grow district partnerships.
