5U AI builds a digital workforce platform that automates operational freight tasks across air, sea and road by integrating with existing freight systems to handle quoting, bookings, shipment tracking, invoice reconciliation, data entry and routine administration. Its Decision Layer records the reasoning behind each operational decision and creates a knowledge base to improve future processes, and the system is trained specifically for logistics workflows and complex exceptions. The platform is already deployed with freight forwarders and carriers across Europe. Founded in 2025 by TUM graduates Yagiz Abik and Fehmi Şener and based in Munich, the company is backed by logistics industry executives. Following its $3.2 million pre-seed raise led by Emerge Capital, 5U AI plans to accelerate product development, expand its European go-to-market and grow its product, engineering, operations and commercial teams.
