Act Security was founded by Jonathan Langer, Itay Kirshenbaum, Stephen Goldberg, and Ilai Fallach, the team behind medical-device security company Medigate. The startup is building a platform designed to protect cloud infrastructure and on-premise data centers from cyber threats. Drawing on the founders’ experience in safeguarding connected medical devices, the company aims to extend similar rigorous security to broader enterprise environments. Act Security is already staffed by about 30 employees. Since launching, the company has attracted significant investor interest, amassing $60 million across two rounds. This capital positions the young firm to continue expanding its technology and team as it brings its platform to market.
