Overview
Adler, founded in August 2021, builds a lightweight 3D engine and a companion programming language called Adler XRML. Its products aim to lower the difficulty of 3D app development and enable fast execution in web environments and on low‑spec devices. Adler’s own 3D social networking services are already powered by its engine and Adler XRML. The founder and CEO, a developer by background, created the engine after finding existing engines lacked web support, were slow, and required specialized hires. With the recent bridge financing the company says it has secured more than two years of operating funds and will focus on product development and achieving profitability. Adler also plans to pursue long‑term synergies with Kakao and VR ecosystems such as Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest. Adler develops a lightweight 3D engine and a proprietary programming language called Adler XRML, and runs 3D SNS services powered by that stack. The company emphasizes fast performance in web environments and on low‑spec devices, aiming to become a global standard in 3D environments including Apple Vision Pro. Adler has demonstrated its technology as the main tech partner at an art fair at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, delivered a real‑time 3D ad in New York’s Times Square featured on UAE broadcaster Al Dafra TV, and produced 3D products for international clients such as Germany’s Drivery mobility hub. The team is majority non‑Korean (members from Ethiopia, Pakistan, Vietnam) and operates company‑wide in English targeting global markets. Adler was founded in August 2021 and the founder, Yurika, is a developer who attended Seoul Science High School and later left Seoul National University. The company plans to open its engine to other developers this year and reported multiple client contracts in 2023. Adler, founded in August 2021, develops a 3D SNS and a proprietary 3D engine together with its own 3D markup/programming language, Adler XRML. The company says its engine reduces 3D loading time to under one second and that its SNS runs entirely on XRML. CEO Yurika, a former web developer, designed XRML to let the world’s web developers build 3D experiences with HTML‑like syntax. Adler has shown its technology on global stages, serving as a main technical partner at the Carrousel du Louvre art fair and running the first 3D real-time display ad in New York’s Times Square. Following a recent investment, Adler reorganized to focus more on its 3D engine and signed LOIs with four 3D-related portfolio companies, including TeamSolution. The company completed a Pre‑A round of 27억원 from Korea Investment Partners and other domestic investors and is raising additional pre‑Series A funds to continue engine development.
