잼잼테라퓨틱스 builds '잼잼400', an augmented-reality game that enables children with disabilities to perform upper-limb rehabilitation exercises at home using a tablet front camera to recognize hand movements. The game, launched in May, includes a variety of hand motions designed to promote brain plasticity through rehabilitative play. A study at Catholic University found comparable rehabilitation effects to a glove-type device that costs around ten million won. The founder, who has ten years of game-development experience and a child with cerebral palsy, started the project to help more children with disabilities. The company plans to use the newly raised funds to improve its AI models, advance product technology, develop additional rehabilitation-content, conduct customer development, and recruit new users. Management has stated ambitions for continued product improvements and global expansion. JamJam Therapeutics builds AR-based rehabilitation game solutions focused on children with developmental delays. Its core product, 잼재미AR, uses machine-learning motion-recognition so users can perform rehab exercises without expensive glove-type equipment. The company ran a beta test in 2023 and positions its games to engage children who resist traditional rehabilitation. Joint research with Seoul Asan Hospital and the Catholic University found comparable therapeutic effects to high-cost glove equipment. The founding team has a combined 45 years of game-development experience and is concentrating on making engaging rehab content. JamJam plans to use new funding to accelerate product development and to raise awareness domestically and internationally. The company recently secured a seed investment of ₩300 million.

씨이텍 commercializes wet carbon-capture technology developed under the government 'Korea CCS 2020' program. The company owns two proprietary absorbents—MABSol® for high‑concentration CO2 sources and CT-1® for low‑concentration sources such as natural-gas power and ship exhaust—and simulation technology to design tailored processes across varied emission sources. Its low-water‑concept absorbents reportedly reduce regeneration energy by about 40–45% versus a commercial MEA 30wt% solvent. 씨이텍 was founded in December 2020 and built early research infrastructure through SK E&S support and joint research. Using the new funding, the company plans to accelerate a ship carbon-capture pilot, develop mobile processes for diverse flue gases, and establish an international cooperation network. It is pursuing pilot partnerships with shipbuilding and power-system firms and collaborative research with a Texas university.

  • Adler

    Led · Equity · Feb 2024

Adler, founded in August 2021, builds a lightweight 3D engine and a companion programming language called Adler XRML. Its products aim to lower the difficulty of 3D app development and enable fast execution in web environments and on low‑spec devices. Adler’s own 3D social networking services are already powered by its engine and Adler XRML. The founder and CEO, a developer by background, created the engine after finding existing engines lacked web support, were slow, and required specialized hires. With the recent bridge financing the company says it has secured more than two years of operating funds and will focus on product development and achieving profitability. Adler also plans to pursue long‑term synergies with Kakao and VR ecosystems such as Apple Vision Pro and Meta Quest. Adler develops a lightweight 3D engine and a proprietary programming language called Adler XRML, and runs 3D SNS services powered by that stack. The company emphasizes fast performance in web environments and on low‑spec devices, aiming to become a global standard in 3D environments including Apple Vision Pro. Adler has demonstrated its technology as the main tech partner at an art fair at the Carrousel du Louvre in Paris, delivered a real‑time 3D ad in New York’s Times Square featured on UAE broadcaster Al Dafra TV, and produced 3D products for international clients such as Germany’s Drivery mobility hub. The team is majority non‑Korean (members from Ethiopia, Pakistan, Vietnam) and operates company‑wide in English targeting global markets. Adler was founded in August 2021 and the founder, Yurika, is a developer who attended Seoul Science High School and later left Seoul National University. The company plans to open its engine to other developers this year and reported multiple client contracts in 2023. Adler, founded in August 2021, develops a 3D SNS and a proprietary 3D engine together with its own 3D markup/programming language, Adler XRML. The company says its engine reduces 3D loading time to under one second and that its SNS runs entirely on XRML. CEO Yurika, a former web developer, designed XRML to let the world’s web developers build 3D experiences with HTML‑like syntax. Adler has shown its technology on global stages, serving as a main technical partner at the Carrousel du Louvre art fair and running the first 3D real-time display ad in New York’s Times Square. Following a recent investment, Adler reorganized to focus more on its 3D engine and signed LOIs with four 3D-related portfolio companies, including TeamSolution. The company completed a Pre‑A round of 27억원 from Korea Investment Partners and other domestic investors and is raising additional pre‑Series A funds to continue engine development.
