AfterHour is a social platform for retail investors that lets users connect brokerage accounts and publish real, verified stock positions to a social feed under chosen usernames. The product is built around transparency and pseudo‑anonymity: users share screenshots or linked positions to prove they hold the trades they discuss. The company emphasizes community moderation and is developing automated tools to flag suspicious or fake posts to deter pump-and-dump behavior. Launched in April 2022 by former YouTube PM Kevin Xu (known as “Sir Jack A Lot”), the app has grown to more than 23,000 users with over 70% of users active on the app daily.
