  • Nitra

    Participated · Series B · Mar 2026

Nitra embeds AI agents into core business functions—payments, procurement, inventory management, scheduling, and insurance verification—giving medical practices a single system to run their back office. Its financial suite includes a Visa-powered expense card, bill pay, patient payment processing, and AI-driven accounting, while its commerce marketplace connects users to thousands of biopharma and medical-supply products through partners like McKesson and Medline. Recently the company added a voice-AI patient management module that handles appointment scheduling and insurance eligibility checks. In 2025 the platform’s annualized revenue jumped from $4 million to more than $33 million on 740 percent growth, and it surpassed $1 billion in annualized processing volume across thousands of doctors in over 700 clinics. December 2025 saw a single-day record of roughly $9 million in purchases. Management expects to serve 3,000+ clinics, top $150 million in annualized revenue, and exceed $4 billion in processing volume during 2026. Founded in 2024 by CEO Tim Hwang and President Jonathan Chen, Nitra plans to expand headcount from about 50 to over 200 and roll out new AI modules for revenue-cycle management, patient marketing, payroll, and staffing.

  • AfterHour

    Participated · Seed · Jun 2024

AfterHour is a social platform for retail investors that lets users connect brokerage accounts and publish real, verified stock positions to a social feed under chosen usernames. The product is built around transparency and pseudo‑anonymity: users share screenshots or linked positions to prove they hold the trades they discuss. The company emphasizes community moderation and is developing automated tools to flag suspicious or fake posts to deter pump-and-dump behavior. Launched in April 2022 by former YouTube PM Kevin Xu (known as “Sir Jack A Lot”), the app has grown to more than 23,000 users with over 70% of users active on the app daily. AfterHour recently raised a $4.5 million seed round and is currently focused on growth, expanding its team, and planning future monetization. The founder says the company intends to expand beyond stocks into other areas of finance over the long term.

  • Simplify

    Participated · Seed · Feb 2024

Simplify combines questionnaires, job scraping, job matching, automated application autofill and AI-generated answers into a single product it calls an "always on AI career agent." Users can take a quiz to capture skills and preferences, set salary and cultural priorities, and use a resume-builder or the Simplify Copilot Chrome extension to apply and autofill applications. The product targets technical candidates with defined skills like programming languages and developer tools, and presents matches scraped from the web. The company emphasizes privacy by positioning itself separately from LinkedIn so only potential employers see user information. Simplify launched in 2021 after its founders experienced repetitive application work in college; it currently has around 10 employees and is remote for now. The team is experimenting with monetization and says the new funding provides runway to test business models. Simplify provides a candidate-first platform that lets college students apply to multiple job openings quickly using 1-click application autofill, personalized job recommendations, and an automatic application tracker. The product includes auto-filling frameworks for the 15 largest ATSs and basic NLP to map one-off application questions to a user’s profile. Simplify says over half a million applications were submitted through the product in the last six months and it has 30,000+ users from more than 1,100 schools, with over 85% identifying as persons of color. The company was cofounded by Stanford and Berkeley dropouts Michael Yan, Ethan Horoschak and Rushil Srivastava and is based in San Francisco. Long-term, the team intends for Simplify profiles to become a holistic candidate view that could render traditional resumes and resume parsers obsolete, and it is iterating on a long list of features to make the job-search process frictionless. The founders emphasize ongoing user engagement (weekly office hours and talkathons) to prioritize product development.
