Agriodor
6 Rue Pierre-Joseph Colin, Rennes, Bretagne, 35000, France
Overview
Agriodor develops a class of crop protection solutions that use semiochemicals to influence insect behavior by replicating natural plant scents. Its R&D platform combines high-throughput chemical ecology and reverse chemical ecology to design blends that attract, repel, or disrupt pest insects while preserving beneficial species. The company launched its first commercial product targeting sugar beet aphids and has an exclusive distribution agreement with Syngenta, with an initial field deployment in France. Agriodor is expanding its product portfolio to address additional insect families including fruit flies, whiteflies, and thrips. Founded in 2019 as a spin-off from INRAE by Alain Thibault and Dr Ené Leppik, the company plans to use the Series A funding to accelerate international expansion and wider deployment of its olfactory biocontrol technology.
