Alpha AR positions itself to play a key role in the growth of the metaverse across gaming, retail, entertainment and social media. Alpha AR is an Estonian deep-tech startup that uses AI to automatically convert 2D images into 3D models within minutes for AR/VR, NFTs and marketing use cases. The company was co-founded in 2018 by Madis Alesmaa (CEO) and Rait-Eino Laarmann (COO), two serial entrepreneurs from the software and gaming industries. Alpha AR aims to make 3D creation affordable and scalable, addressing a costly and time-consuming bottleneck in the AR, VR and gaming industries. The startup has formed partnership agreements with several leading e-commerce, augmented reality and Metaverse platforms. Alpha AR has been recognized regionally, including being singled out by Vestbee and winning How to Web’s Spotlight 2021 competition. With the new capital prize, the company plans to continue global growth and further develop its 3D technology.
