- Genesis Space Flight Laboratories
Participated · Seed · Jul 2026
Genesis Space Flight Laboratories develops reentry capsules and provides platforms for microgravity research, including PocketQube-sized GEN payload platforms. Founded one year prior in Croatia, the company has completed two space missions — the orbital MAYASAT-1 mission aboard SpaceX Falcon 9 (Transporter-14) and the GEN-1 reentry demonstration on SSC Space’s RED KITE-powered sounding rocket — and has successfully flown and returned customer payloads. It validated two research payload modules on GEN-1, conducting fruit fly microgravity experiments and microbiology research on fungi and algae using a 25-sample NIR analysis platform. The company has established partnerships across Europe and with U.S. launch providers and built an early institutional customer base with repeat customers. With the recent Seed close, bringing total venture funding to €1.5 million, Genesis plans to develop the larger GEN-5 capsule, enable longer-duration missions, and expand its international team.
- codeplain
Led · Seed · Jul 2026
Codeplain develops an AI platform that automatically generates, tests and updates production-ready code from structured, plain-language software specifications, an approach it calls "Phoenix Architecture." The company positions specifications as durable assets that can be used to regenerate code on demand, reducing maintenance when APIs or integrations change. Early customers include DevRev, HYCU, and Incode, which use the platform to maintain integrations with frequently changing external APIs. Founder and CEO Dusan Omercevic previously built Cleanshelf (acquired by SAP LeanIX) and led product at SAP LeanIX and Zemanta. Codeplain operates from offices in Ljubljana, Berlin, and San Francisco. The recent €2.6M seed raise led by GapMinder with Silicon Gardens co-leading will fund further development and adoption of the platform.
- DesignVerse
Participated · Seed · May 2026
DesignVerse develops an AI-powered platform that generates software using customers’ existing design systems, component libraries, technical documentation and internal rules to produce applications aligned with current architectures and engineering standards. The platform is designed to reduce manual translation between design and engineering teams and to enable earlier validation of behaviour with stakeholders. The company targets enterprise and mission-critical environments across sectors including aviation, finance, cybersecurity and government where reliability, security and compliance are required. Founded by Andrei Manolache and Robert Dragutoiu and headquartered in Bucharest, DesignVerse has worked with early enterprise design partners during its pre-seed stage. Financially, it has raised $850,000 in pre-seed funding and more than $5.5 million in a seed round. The company plans to use the seed proceeds to expand its engineering team and accelerate growth in Europe and the United States.
- InsiderCX
Led · Seed · Jan 2026
Founded in 2022 in Varaždin, Croatia, InsiderCX offers an AI-driven patient-experience platform for hospitals, dental groups, insurers, and international healthcare chains. Operating in six European markets, the company already serves large healthcare enterprises and insurers. InsiderCX plans to use new capital to deepen its AI capabilities, broaden product functionality, and scale commercial operations throughout Europe. The platform’s goal is to help healthcare organizations boost satisfaction scores, streamline service recovery, and strengthen online reputations. No revenue or user figures were disclosed in the articles, but the firm’s customer base and geographic footprint indicate early market traction.
