    Alta Ares produces AI-equipped interceptor ammunition designed to detect and destroy drones, missiles and glide bombs. Its systems are reported to be deployed in Ukraine, the Middle East and Asia. The company aims to expand its activities into Poland, Germany and the United States. Alta Ares raised €50 million in a second funding round and had completed a €2 million financing in May 2025. CEO Hadrien Canter said the new capital will be used to expand production to meet rising demand for air-defence systems.

    Ingenix was founded in 2023 and is headquartered in Warsaw. The company develops the Biological Reasoning Engine, an AI system built on a Modality Fusion architecture that integrates best-in-class models across modalities and biological scales and reasons across their representations. Outputs from the Engine include a reasoning trace that lays out mechanism, evidence, and caveats alongside conclusions for translational and clinical R&D decision-making. Ingenix said the Engine produced candidate ADC payload combinations for an oncology biotech in minutes, including novel hypotheses and several actionable candidates. The company plans to broaden work with pharma and biotech partners through a newly launched Qualified Access Program. Financially, Ingenix raised a €13m seed-extension round led by Sofinnova Partners with participation from Inovo VC and OTB VC to scale the Engine and expand partner engagements.

    SPREAD AI provides an AI-native data foundation that connects structured and unstructured product and engineering data across design, production, and operations to create "Product Twins." Its platform helps engineering, sales, and service teams understand dependencies, assess trade-offs, and make faster decisions, and the company says customers have seen faster development cycles, improved troubleshooting times, and cost savings. SPREAD works with global manufacturers in sectors including automotive, aerospace and defence, and industrial equipment. The company has deepened a commercial and technical collaboration with Salesforce to combine its product data capabilities with Salesforce Customer 360. Following the $30 million Series B, SPREAD plans to invest the proceeds in platform enhancements and international expansion. The raise combines strategic investors, returning VCs, and an angel participant to support the firm's growth objectives.

    ATMOS Space Cargo develops free-flying orbital transfer and re-entry vehicles (PHOENIX family) and offers space logistics services to commercial, institutional, and defence customers. PHOENIX 2 is described as a free-flying spacecraft with integrated propulsion and power capable of missions from hours to several months in LEO, performing autonomous de-orbit and controlled atmospheric re-entry using an Inflatable Atmospheric Decelerator (IAD) that is non-ablative and acts as a heat shield and aerodynamic brake. The company plans an initial three-vehicle PHOENIX 2 fleet operated as a phased campaign and is preparing recovery operations near Santa Maria in the Azores under an ANACOM licence. ATMOS is also developing PHOENIX 3, a next-generation return vehicle with an intended payload capacity of roughly one metric tonne, about ten times PHOENIX 2’s capacity. To serve governmental and defence needs it is launching ATMOS WORKS, a dedicated dual-use business unit. The company raised €25.7M in a Series A to fund these activities, including the PHOENIX 2 build, ATMOS WORKS launch, and PHOENIX 3 development, with participation from the EIC Accelerator which provides blended grant and equity financing.

    Founded in 2023 and based in Munich, Tytan Technologies develops AI-guided interceptor drones to counter unmanned aerial systems and is expanding its portfolio into wider air-defense solutions. The company's products are already used in real operational scenarios and it holds existing military orders. With the newly raised Series A capital, Tytan intends to scale manufacturing, develop additional air-defense products, and grow its team. Management and advisory additions with industry experience have accompanied the company's scaling plans. Tytan aims to significantly boost production capacity by the end of 2026. The company is described as one of the fast-growing European "New Defense" companies with a clear scaling strategy.
