ATMOS Space Cargo develops free-flying orbital transfer and re-entry vehicles (PHOENIX family) and offers space logistics services to commercial, institutional, and defence customers. PHOENIX 2 is described as a free-flying spacecraft with integrated propulsion and power capable of missions from hours to several months in LEO, performing autonomous de-orbit and controlled atmospheric re-entry using an Inflatable Atmospheric Decelerator (IAD) that is non-ablative and acts as a heat shield and aerodynamic brake. The company plans an initial three-vehicle PHOENIX 2 fleet operated as a phased campaign and is preparing recovery operations near Santa Maria in the Azores under an ANACOM licence. ATMOS is also developing PHOENIX 3, a next-generation return vehicle with an intended payload capacity of roughly one metric tonne, about ten times PHOENIX 2’s capacity. To serve governmental and defence needs it is launching ATMOS WORKS, a dedicated dual-use business unit. The company raised €25.7M in a Series A to fund these activities, including the PHOENIX 2 build, ATMOS WORKS launch, and PHOENIX 3 development, with participation from the EIC Accelerator which provides blended grant and equity financing.

Founded in 2021 in Leipzig, enaDyne combines expertise in plasma physics, catalysis, engineering, and materials science to create containerised non-thermal plasma reactors for on-site chemical synthesis. The technology integrates proprietary electrodes with plasma-active catalysts to transform CO₂ and other process gases into products such as syngas, methanol, and ethylene, while also tackling persistent pollutants like CF₄ and PFAS. Current lab results show CO₂ conversion rates above 70 % with competitive selectivities, and the equipment can be switched on and off like a light switch, enabling deployment wherever renewable electricity is available. The company’s modular architecture supports rapid scaling across industrial sites, aiming to decarbonise conventional chemical production and valorise waste CO₂. With its €7 million seed financing, enaDyne plans to build and deploy a 20-foot modular pilot plant at an industrial customer by mid-2026 and develop its first commercial plasma-based PFAS abatement product. Longer term, management targets the rollout of tens of thousands of containerised units by 2050, positioning the firm as a global platform for non-thermal plasma chemical synthesis.

Quibim is a Valencia-based startup developing foundational AI models for medical imaging across oncology, immunology, neurology, and metabolic disorders. Its flagship product, QP-Prostate, is designed to improve prostate cancer detection from X-rays, CT scans, and MRIs, and the company is developing separate products for the brain, liver, breast, and lung. Quibim also offers QP-Insights for processing multi-omics data, intended for use in clinical trials and related studies. The founders spun the company out of La Fe Health Research Institute in Valencia; the team’s imaging process was adopted as an industry standard by the European Society of Radiology in 2013. Following a recent capital injection, the company plans to promote new prostate, musculoskeletal and oncology solutions, expand its workforce and grow international sales and market presence. Quibim extracts quantitative imaging biomarkers from radiological and nuclear medicine images using original computational processing methods. Its core product is the Quibim Precision® cloud-based medical-imaging analysis platform, which can be deployed in private instances for hospitals and pharmaceutical companies running clinical trials. The platform processes X‑ray, ultrasound, CT, MRI and PET images with advanced algorithms including GPU processing, machine learning and big data methodologies. Quibim’s software aims to enrich diagnostic information and enable earlier assessment of pharmacological treatment response.
