In 2021 the company integrated its platform with Microsoft Teams. The company raised new capital in 2021 and intends to use funds to continue expanding operations, accelerate development efforts and broaden its business reach. Ambition is a gamification platform that assigns each sales rep an "ambition" score based on customizable metrics and lets teams compete in limited "seasons" with rewards for winners. The product integrates with phone systems and CRMs to track performance without extra work from salespeople. Ambition emphasizes team-focused competition to engage more employees and make motivation peer-driven rather than solely manager-driven. Managers can view both individual and team-wide data to monitor performance. The startup launched its product last August and is part of the current Y Combinator class. Ambition was founded in Chattanooga, Tenn., and the company has raised seed funding from The Lamp Post Group, Y Combinator, and YC VC.
