Amphivena is a South San Francisco–based clinical-stage immuno-oncology company focused on developing T cell engagers. Its lead candidate, AMV564, is a bivalent, bispecific (2:2) CD33/CD3 T cell engager designed to selectively eliminate myeloid-derived suppressor cells (MDSC) while sparing normal neutrophils and monocytes. More than 50 patients have received AMV564 across two Phase 1 trials for acute myeloid leukemia and myelodysplastic syndromes, and it is being evaluated in a First-in-Human Phase 1 trial for relapsed/refractory AML at multiple major cancer centers. AMV564 has been presented at EHA and ASH, where Amphivena highlighted its safety profile and selective activity against leukemic blasts and MDSCs. The company is also running a Phase 1 solid tumor study that is open to enrollment and intends to expand AMV564 development into solid tumors. Amphivena has raised $88.5M to date across Series A, B and C financings.
