Amuse Labs is a newly formed animation producer and digital studio targeting the children's market with international commercial ambitions across North America, Asia, the EU and the UK. The company will own the intellectual property of the works it produces and participate across concept, script, production, technological development, exploitation, licensing and merchandising. Its commercial strategy includes selling to broadcasters and platforms as well as engaging exhibitors, toy manufacturers and publishing groups. The studio emphasizes real gender parity across its workforce and a commitment to using 100% renewable energy to reduce its environmental footprint. Amuse Labs plans to adopt AI tools to streamline portions of 2D and CGI production and expects to create about 40 direct jobs and 150 indirect jobs through local contracting. Amuse Studios, founded in 2014 and owner of 33 original IPs, is a major shareholder in the new venture.
