Overview
Antaios develops Spin-Orbit Torque Magnetic Random-Access Memory (SOT-MRAM), a next-generation MRAM technology that combines high operating speed with effectively infinite read/write endurance. The technology draws on a decade of research at SPINTEC and is positioned to help chip manufacturers address power demands in advanced semiconductor systems. SOT-MRAM has the potential to replace embedded non-volatile memory (e.g., NOR-Flash) and embedded cache (e.g., SRAM) in microcontrollers, microprocessors and SoC designs. It can be implemented on existing STT-MRAM manufacturing lines, supporting faster market deployment across IoT, mobile, computing and storage applications. Founded in 2017 and led by CEO Jean-Pierre Nozières, Antaios is based in Grenoble, France. In 2020 the company secured $11M in funding to develop new strategic partnerships.
