Antler Bio builds EpiHerd, a gene-expression analytics platform that interprets how a cow’s genes respond to environment to detect stress and nutritional imbalances. EpiHerd helps farmers take proactive measures that improve herd well-being and increase milk yield and quality. The system is deployed across key European markets and is used by more than 100 farms, with reported gains of up to 22% in milk yield, 6% in milk fat, and 5% in milk protein. The company says these improvements increase milk volumes and quality, supporting better prices and farm profitability while enhancing fertility, resilience, longevity, and overall herd health. Antler Bio recently secured a $4.3M investment to scale EpiHerd and plans to grow its team and refine the technology. The company has raised $8.5M to date, including grants.
