Overview
Aravolta is a data center software company founded in 2024, headquartered in San Francisco, and part of Y Combinator's Spring 2025 batch, led by CEO Margarita Groisman, CTO Jack Sutton, and COO Pietro Sette. Its platform brings DCIM, EPMS, BMS, SCADA, and network operations into one interface, and the Aravolta Node acts as a virtual PLC that connects to any building, electrical, or IT device across protocols including Modbus TCP, BACnet/IP, OPC UA, SNMP, Redfish, and IPMI. A patent-pending auto-discovery engine configures a facility in under 48 hours from a library of more than 25,000 device templates, supporting branch circuit monitoring, tenant power billing, visual floor planning, and a white-label tenant portal. Customers span colocation providers, chip manufacturers, edge data centers, and emerging neoclouds, including OpenColo, Flexnode, DataCrunch, and Centra. The platform is available cloud-hosted, on-premises, or hybrid, and is SOC 2 Type II certified, ISO 27001 compliant, and HIPAA compliant. Financially, Aravolta has raised $5.1 million to date.
