  • Flash Express

    Led · Equity · May 2018

Flash Express is a Bangkok-based courier and the country’s top private courier by daily parcel volume. Founded in 2017, it claims capacity to deliver up to 2 million parcels per day, covering all 77 Thai provinces. The company focuses on e-commerce logistics and aims to offer one-stop services for online sellers and buyers. With the fresh capital it plans to improve operations, accelerate technology development, and expand its service offerings. Management has targeted regional expansion into Southeast Asia by Q4. Following recent fundraising, the firm has strengthened its financial position to support these operational and expansion plans. Flash Express is a Thailand-based logistics startup that provides door-to-door pickup and delivery services for e-commerce firms. The company entered the market with delivery fees as low as $0.60 per parcel and claims to be the second-largest private player in the sector. It has expanded rapidly, growing from about 1,100 delivery points to more than 5,000 and now delivers over 1 million parcels per day, up from about 50,000 a year earlier. Flash Express has invested heavily in technology, including fully automated sorting systems it says can handle over 100,000 parcels per minute. Primary competitors include Thailand Post, Hong Kong’s Kerry Express, and local Nim Express.
