Arctop applies artificial intelligence to electrical measurements of brain activity to translate people’s feelings, reactions, and intent into real-time information. Its platform targets use cases across health, education, cybersecurity, gaming and entertainment, with initial focus on medical applications. The company says its technology can optimize skill training, enable new communications, and create adaptive experiences. Arctop provides end users a dashboard to control their data, including granting or withdrawing app permissions, authorizing or deactivating features, and deleting data and accounts. The company was founded in 2016 by neuroscientist Dan Furman and software engineer Eitan Kay in Los Angeles. It plans to use new funding to accelerate commercialization of its real-time cognition technology.
