Founded in 2020, Cloaked provides a bundle of consumer privacy and security products such as multiple digital identities (emails, phone numbers, passwords), data removal services, identity theft insurance, VPN, and dark web monitoring. It has added AI-powered call screening and is expanding that screening to text messages, email, and browsing, while testing an AI agent that can take actions like changing compromised passwords. The company reported 10x growth last year, more than 350,000 paying customers, protection of over 10 million identities, cleanup of more than 1 billion records from data broker sites, and processing over 50 million scam or spam phone calls since launching call screening. Cloaked is beginning to roll out enterprise offerings that provide employees alerts, and give CISOs aggregated risk and remediation visibility. The startup has nearly 70 employees and intends to expand hiring across product, engineering, enterprise sales, and international markets, and competes with companies including 1Password, Gaurdio, Firefox, Proton, and Mozilla.

Foundation EGI offers an engineering general intelligence (EGI) platform that combines purpose-built large language models with physics-based context and engineering best practices to tackle design-to-manufacturing complexity. The platform transforms disorganized specifications, siloed tribal knowledge, and outdated instructions into succinct, structured, auditable, and human- and machine-executable workflows. It targets multiple manufacturing domains including automotive, heavy industry, appliances, power tools, and advanced manufacturing and is used at leading Fortune 500 industrial brands. The company was born from MIT cross-disciplinary research led by co-founders Wojciech Matusik and Michael Foshey and cites a 2024 paper, "Large Language Models for Design and Manufacturing," as foundational. Foundation EGI says its vision is to turn manufacturing's biggest bottlenecks into breakthroughs and enable AI-native co-design between humans and machines. Financially, the company announced an oversubscribed Series A of $23M, raising over $30M in total. Foundation EGI has launched a proprietary domain-specific large language model and agentic AI platform purpose-built for engineering and manufacturing workflows. The platform interprets complex natural-language instructions, converts them into clean, structured code and machine-executable workflows, and integrates with industry-standard design tools. Early pilots with several unnamed Fortune 500 industrial companies reportedly show reductions in design-to-manufacture cycles, fewer production errors, and faster time-to-market. The company plans to use the new funding to expand engineering and product teams, scale enterprise pilots and onboard new clients, enhance integrations with leading engineering tools, and advance its core LLM to cover more specialized manufacturing domains. Foundation EGI was co-founded by Mok Oh, Ph.D., Professor Wojciech Matusik, and Michael Foshey, and its work was catalyzed by a 2024 MIT paper titled “Large Language Models for Design and Manufacturing.”

Defcon AI builds software to plan, simulate and optimize complex military logistics operations from airlifts to multi-modal transport. Its system combines machine learning and mathematical optimization (initially using reinforcement learning) to generate plans that include cost tables, resource requirements and schedules based on operator-set parameters. Operators can ask the software to simulate adversary disruption and to optimize for different variables such as speed versus cost effectiveness. The company has earned around $15 million in government contracts and delivered a production deployment with Air Mobility Command less than two years after founding. Defcon is certifying its software to handle classified (secret) information to broaden DOD use and ingest more data. It is expanding capabilities to include trucks, trains and ships and reports growing interest from private-sector customers as well.

Its platform targets use cases across health, education, cybersecurity, gaming and entertainment, with initial focus on medical applications. The company says its technology can optimize skill training, enable new communications, and create adaptive experiences. Arctop provides end users a dashboard to control their data, including granting or withdrawing app permissions, authorizing or deactivating features, and deleting data and accounts. The company was founded in 2016 by neuroscientist Dan Furman and software engineer Eitan Kay in Los Angeles. It plans to use new funding to accelerate commercialization of its real-time cognition technology.
