Arkeon
Läraregatan 3, Göteborg, 411 33, Sweden
Overview
Arkeon develops a method for superconducting quantum chips that allows individual qubit frequencies to be adjusted after fabrication by driving controlled current pulse‑trains through the junction barrier to change junction resistance and tighten frequency placement. The approach aims to improve wafer‑level yield, performance stability, and lower production costs by reducing the need to redesign manufacturing processes. The company initially targets the superconducting quantum processor market and reports letters of intent from several potential customers and a pipeline of roughly 30 companies. Arkeon was founded in 2025 by Peter Hörstedt, Andreas Nylander and Marcus Rommel and is based in Gothenburg. Its current financial step includes a €594.2k Seed round to fund development, customer validation, and international market preparation.
