Aspecta’s core product is an AI-powered identity platform that uses large language models to review contributors’ code, combines social endorsement and network analysis, and incorporates on-chain wallet interactions to tag developer activity. The platform is integrated with GitHub and pulls data from Google, StackOverflow and MetaMask, with Twitter onboarding in progress. Its flagship product, Aspecta ID, will present automatically generated identity pages and is positioned as both a developer-facing profile tool and an "identity-as-a-service" for organizations such as hackathons and hiring teams. Aspecta’s alpha waitlist has grown to about 130,000 people, a traction signal investors cited when backing the company. The startup plans to expand its algorithms to content creators—evaluating tweet and video popularity and using graph-learning to detect fake engagement—and aims to eventually govern parts of the ecosystem via a DAO (not yet implemented). Aspecta.ai is a Yale student–founded startup incubated at Tsai CITY that aims to build a next-generation talent engine to empower recruiting in the cloud era. The company raised about $2 million in its latest fundraising round. Led by founder Zongjian (Jack) He (Yale GSAS ’22), Aspecta assembled a team of AI scientists to integrate big web talent data. Its recruiting modules analyze millions of coding projects, tech posts, patents, and papers to map proficiency across more than 2,000 skills. Aspecta offers a one-stop “Team Building, Task Management, Task Evaluation” intelligent workspace for tech companies, research institutions, and HR tech firms. The firm is also leading a Talent DAO that brings together Web 3.0 hackers, builders, protocols, bootcamps, and VCs.
