Async offers an asynchronous voice-messaging product available in public beta on the web, macOS and iOS that lets users send short (≤5 minute) audio messages with automatic transcripts. Users get a personalized profile URL to receive voice messages, which can be shared in email signatures or LinkedIn; recipients must create an account to reply. The app supports time-stamped emoji reactions, text replies, and audio responses, and can sync calendars to convert events into Async conversations. Today Async targets individual heavy-meeting users — CEOs, investors, consultants, journalists and recruiters — rather than companies. The startup currently has one paid feature (customizable profile URLs priced at $35/year, on sale at $19/year) and plans to launch a premium monthly plan with pro features soon. Async has raised $4 million to date and is led by co-founder and CEO Ilan Abehassera.
