Overview
Founded in 2012 by Manoj Kumar Meena and Sibabrata Das, Atomberg Technology develops and sells energy-efficient BLDC ceiling fans, smart fans, mixer grinders and smart locks, leveraging an in-house R&D engine. The company began in 2015 by supplying B2B clients such as Tata Group, Infosys and Indian Railways before shifting to B2C through Flipkart and Amazon and later building an offline network that now spans more than 15,000 retail touchpoints across India. Atomberg’s focus on efficiency and smart connectivity positions it as a modern alternative to legacy appliance brands. In FY24 the firm generated Rs 848 crore in operating revenue, up 31% YoY, while also cutting its losses by 31.7%. The latest funding round implies a post-money valuation of roughly US$500 million, and total capital raised now exceeds US$150 million. Management intends to use fresh funds to expand distribution and broaden its product portfolio while continuing R&D on energy-saving technologies.
