Attero Recycling is an e-waste management solutions provider in India that processes end-of-life electronics with a zero-landfill system and extracts pure metals. The company offers e-waste management, electronics asset recovery, data security, pan-India reverse logistics, and repair, refurbishment and retail services, and has tied up with more than 200 corporates. It operates a 100,000 sq ft plant in Roorkee, Uttarakhand. Attero reported revenues of Rs 142 crore for the year ended March 31, 2014 and expects Rs 450 crore for the current year. The firm plans to invest its latest capital in building plants in international markets and in technology and innovation, and is eyeing geographies such as Mexico. Management expects roughly 10% of revenues to come from international markets within two to three years. Attero Recycling is a Noida-based e-waste recycling company incorporated in 2007. The company has developed a technology for extracting metals from e-waste and operates an automated integrated e-waste recycling facility at Roorkee, Uttrakhand. It claims a capacity to recycle 36,000 tonnes of e-waste a year and serves over 165 clients, including Wipro, HCL, Tata Tele Services, and Google. Attero plans to use new funds to further enhance the technology of its plant and strengthen its collection system. The company aims to expand to process a majority of the mixed-metal e-waste generated in India.
