The ayondo group is a FinTech investment and operating group focused on new technologies and high-growth business models that can increase efficiency in the banking sector. Led by CEO Robert Lempka, the group has invested in innovative companies and technologies in the financial technology space since 2008. It operates a portfolio that includes social trading provider ayondo GmbH (headquartered in Frankfurt) and broker ayondo markets Ltd. (formerly Gekko Global Markets) in London. Until April 2014 the group operated under the name Next Generation Finance Invest. The company covers a broad spectrum of services in the Finance 2.0 field across both retail and institutional sectors. It recently opened a Singapore office and received an additional SGD5m investment from Singapore-based private equity group Luminor Capital to fund international expansion.
