BetaGlue Therapeutics is a clinical-stage Italian company developing a personalized radiotherapy platform called YntraDose for the treatment of various solid tumors. The company announced an €8 million equity financing led by Neva and LIFTT, with participation from FinPosillipo (Gruppo Petrone), Romed and Giovanni Cerutti. BetaGlue previously secured an EIC Accelerator Award valued at €10 million, of which €7.5 million was equity. Combined with the new round, the company has raised a total of €18 million. The capital will be used to strengthen the team and to accelerate and expand development of the YntraDose platform across multiple oncology indications. CEO Colin Story said the funding will help advance the pipeline toward important development and regulatory milestones. BetaGlue is a Milan-based clinical-stage company developing the BAT-90 platform, a novel medical device technology for loco-regional radiotherapy aimed at unresectable solid tumours. The company is advancing BAT-90 through clinical development across multiple solid tumour indications. Financially, BetaGlue has just secured a €10m EIC Accelerator award composed of a €2.5m grant and a €7.5m equity component to fund further clinical progress. The firm highlights support from a global Scientific Advisory Board and leading national and international advisers. BetaGlue’s leadership frames the EIC award as validation of the platform’s clinical and commercial potential and of the executive team driving development.
