Bioactivx designs and manufactures Bioactiv Matrix, a fully synthetic skin substitute that mimics the body’s natural healing process while eliminating the infection risks and cultural limitations associated with animal-derived collagen and skin grafts. In pre-clinical studies the matrix achieved complete wound closure in seven days and showed no inflammation by day fifteen, outperforming leading collagen products; early human trials have also demonstrated faster, cleaner healing than the current standard of care. The company plans to leverage its proprietary synthetic regenerative platform to launch additional products, including Bioactiv Foam for acute and chronic wounds and Bioactiv Cellulose for ulcers and long-term care. Proceeds from its recent seed financing will accelerate global regulatory approval and commercialization of Bioactiv Matrix, expand the product pipeline, and scale a Singapore production facility built to ISO 13485 standards. By removing the need for animal materials or cold-chain logistics, Bioactivx targets hospitals, military units, and remote care settings worldwide. Each year more than 11 million people suffer burn injuries, a market the firm believes is underserved by current solutions. The $1.43 million seed round provides the capital runway for regulatory submissions and manufacturing scale-up.
