BionIT Labs develops the Adam's Hand bionic prosthesis and related prosthetic products. The company closed a €5.5 million investment round signed with CDP Venture Capital SGR, RIF Srl, Sefea Impact Sgr, SIMEST Spa and ENEA Tech e Biomedical. Proceeds are intended to make the Adam's Hand the premier product in the American prosthetic market and to expand BionIT Labs' product range. BionIT Labs says the U.S. represents over 50% of the global prosthetics market and the capital will fuel its expansion there. The announcement highlights a team of over 30 members specialized in engineering and medtech fields. The company frames its mission as making the world more equitable and accessible by "turning disabilities into new possibilities."
