Founded in 2021, BiPER Therapeutics engineers innovative small molecules that induce lethal cellular stress to destroy tumors. Its lead candidate, BPR001-615, has already demonstrated in-vitro and in-vivo efficacy both as a monotherapy and in combination with standard chemo- and immunotherapies for gastrointestinal cancers. The company plans to file clinical trial applications in Europe and the United States in Q1 2026. Fresh capital will also finance the opening of a second, AI-driven R&D center in Tunis to expand the company’s pipeline into additional oncology and non-oncology indications. BiPER currently employs 11 people and has secured just over €3 million to date, including the recent i-Lab 2022 innovation prize. Management ultimately aims to raise a €30 million Series A round to take BPR001-615 to clinical proof of efficacy.
