  • Moonlight AI

    Led · Seed · May 2026

Founded in 2022, Moonlight AI develops AI-based diagnostics software that detects genomic biomarkers and complex disease signatures from routine blood and cytology smear images. Its technology integrates with existing laboratory imaging hardware to triage molecular testing, aiming to speed turnaround times and automate workflows. The company says this approach addresses bottlenecks in precision oncology caused by the cost and turnaround time of Next-Generation Sequencing. Moonlight is curating a proprietary dataset linking whole slide imaging with genomic data through an international clinical consortium to support model robustness across real-world settings. With the new seed funding, it plans to expand its data library and team, advance diagnostic solutions for MDS, NSCLC and CLL, and pursue commercialisation and regulatory approval. The company has transitioned into a Swiss Stock Corporation to support international expansion and commercial rollout.

  • DigeHealth

    Led · Seed · Dec 2025

DigeHealth is a health-tech startup focused on transforming gastrointestinal care by continuously capturing and analyzing bowel sounds through advanced acoustics, sensor fusion, and artificial intelligence. Its miniature wearable monitors intestinal motility around the clock, turning previously untapped gut sounds into actionable, personalized digital biomarkers for clinicians and patients. The technology aims to address a wide spectrum of GI issues—from post-operative ileus and neurogenic bowel dysfunction to inflammatory bowel disease—by making disease progression and therapy success measurable both in hospitals and at home. The company plans to channel newly raised capital into product development, clinical validation, and regulatory approvals while expanding access to clinical data and recruiting top AI talent. Health-tech incubator Evoleen initiated the product’s development, underscoring the significant market opportunity as an estimated 20 % of the global population suffers from GI disorders. Financially, DigeHealth has just closed its first external funding round, a CHF 1.25 million seed raise, and no revenue or user figures have yet been disclosed.

  • BiPER Therapeutics

    Led · Equity · Dec 2025

Founded in 2021, BiPER Therapeutics engineers innovative small molecules that induce lethal cellular stress to destroy tumors. Its lead candidate, BPR001-615, has already demonstrated in-vitro and in-vivo efficacy both as a monotherapy and in combination with standard chemo- and immunotherapies for gastrointestinal cancers. The company plans to file clinical trial applications in Europe and the United States in Q1 2026. Fresh capital will also finance the opening of a second, AI-driven R&D center in Tunis to expand the company’s pipeline into additional oncology and non-oncology indications. BiPER currently employs 11 people and has secured just over €3 million to date, including the recent i-Lab 2022 innovation prize. Management ultimately aims to raise a €30 million Series A round to take BPR001-615 to clinical proof of efficacy.
