Bits is a Brazilian legaltech that simplifies complex legal jargon and makes documents more readable using UX techniques. The company narrowed its product to focus solely on transforming documents into easier-to-understand formats. Bits raised $330K in a round led by Quintal and Levain Ventures, with participation from Anjos do Brasil, Harvard Angels, and Insper Angels. The funds will be used to enhance the platform with generative AI capabilities. As part of the deal, Bits will receive media exposure through Quintal’s partnership with Grupo Ric’s radio and TV channels. Co-founder and CEO Erik Nybo said the company was founded to help companies undergo digital transformation but shifted to concentrate on document transformation.
