Bloktopia is a virtual reality metaverse built around a 21‑floor VR skyscraper that commemorates 21 million Bitcoin and aims to let users Learn, Earn, Play and Create. The platform positions itself as a central hub for crypto information and immersive content for all levels of crypto experience. Ross Tavakoli is CEO. The company announced a $4.2M funding round led by Animoca Brands with participation from a broad group of crypto investors and influencers. Bloktopia has secured a slate of confirmed "Anchor Tenants" including Animoca Brands, Polygon, Avalanche, Dextools, DuckDAO, Anti Fund, Polkastarter, Travala, Kucoin and others, with more agreements in process. A final $700k is planned to complete the raise via an IDO for the native $BLOK token, scheduled for Oct 5–6, 2021, on Seedify, Red Kite, OxBull and TrustPad launchpads.
