BoxyHQ

Overview
BoxyHQ is an open-source "enterprise readiness" platform that provides SAML single sign-on (SSO) and audit log functionality to SaaS apps. After a private beta with design partners it formally launched its SAML Jackson product, which removes the "tedious bits" of the SAML protocol. Co-founder and CEO Deepak Prabhakara says features like SSO or audit logs would take a senior developer six to eight weeks to build but less than a week with BoxyHQ, with maintenance limited to upgrading the library or service. The company plans additional modules including data privacy vaults, role-based access and permissions, directory synchronization, and admin portals, plus industry-targeted features for health and finance. Longer term it aims to bridge compliance and security by enabling developers to map policies to code, add observability, and offer low-code automation for compliance and security policies. Early users include Cal.com, and the company emphasizes an open-source ethos to allow customization and avoid vendor lock-in. BoxyHQ raised $2.5 million in a seed round last October.
