CardiaTec is a Cambridge University spinout that applies AI and multi-omics analysis to discover novel treatments for cardiovascular disease. The company aggregates human heart tissue data from 65 hospitals across the U.K. and the U.S. to build what it calls the largest human heart tissue multi-omics dataset. Its platform links gene variation, methylation, expression, proteomic and metabolomic signals to reveal systems-level relationships in disease. The company aims to accelerate drug discovery, reduce costs, and deliver new compounds to help patients.
