Prior to launch it had added more than 100 Carepoynt Community partners and invites consumers to sign up for free member accounts to join the network. Carepoynt positions the platform for employer- and insurer-based wellness program engagement and to encourage personalized, results-oriented interactions to improve engagement and outcomes. Financially, the company completed an oversubscribed $1.5M initial funding round in Q1 2017 led by Tech Coast Angels, HBS Angels, Sheppard Capital, the Carepoynt team and other private investors, which the company says funded team expansion and pilot deployments. With its official market launch the company plans significant growth through the end of 2017 and intends to undertake a next stage of funding to scale the program, platform and network.
