  • SkyfireAI

    Participated · Seed · Apr 2026

SkyfireAI develops a software platform for autonomous, coordinated multi-ship drone operations that supports the full mission lifecycle from planning and deployment to orchestration and operational oversight. The company’s platform is designed for public-safety, law-enforcement, critical-infrastructure, and defense use cases such as 911 response, incident overwatch, medical delivery, crowd safety, and perimeter defense. Founded in late 2022 by entrepreneurs and veterans with national security and first-response experience, SkyfireAI has Andrew Ng and AI Fund involved from its founding. It currently serves federal, state, and local public-safety and law-enforcement agencies, commercial critical-infrastructure clients, and an increasing number of defense customers. Following its $11 million seed round, SkyfireAI plans to accelerate product development, expand its technology and product teams, and scale deployments with mission-critical organizations.

  • Smart Bricks

    Participated · Seed · Feb 2026

Founded in 2024 by Mohamed Mohamed, Smart Bricks is developing an agentic AI platform that ingests more than one million proprietary and public data feeds to analyze supply, pricing, liquidity, regulation and risk across global real-estate markets. The system ranks the top 0.1% of properties by expected risk-adjusted return and automates up to 99% of the traditional workflow—from valuation and underwriting to negotiation, financing and post-transaction support—compressing a months-long process into minutes. Designed for both retail and institutional investors operating in hubs such as Dubai, London, New York and Miami, the product serves as the AI operating system rather than a broker marketplace. Future plans for the freshly raised capital include further platform development, expansion of AI-driven underwriting and execution workflows, and scaling coverage across additional key markets. The company has been recognized by TechCrunch (Top 200) and Onstage Europe (Top 20) and is an alumnus of Google AI First, Microsoft GrowthX and NVIDIA Inception. Backers also include Techstars, 500 Global and Cornerstone VC, and the leadership team brings experience from BCG, McKinsey, Blackstone and Goldman Sachs. To date, Smart Bricks has secured $5 million in external funding.

  • AiM Medical Robotics

    Participated · Series A · Sep 2025

AiM Medical Robotics is building a compact, portable robotic platform that operates directly inside an MRI scanner, giving neurosurgeons continuous, real-time imaging while they position instruments. The technology targets deep-brain stimulation lead placement for Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, and can be adapted for cranial biopsies, tumor and epilepsy ablations, and targeted intracranial drug delivery. By eliminating the need to shuttle patients between the operating room and imaging suite, the system seeks to make procedures faster, safer, and more precise, lowering both risk and cost. The company plans to layer artificial intelligence onto the platform so it can learn from surgical data, optimize workflows, and provide predictive guidance. AiM estimates its initial DBS market opportunity at $7.9 billion. Including the new capital, the company has secured over $11.3 million in equity funding, supplemented by significant federal grants. The fresh funds will support first-in-human trials, regulatory progress, and expansion of strategic partnerships.

  • PodUp

    Participated · Seed · Aug 2025

PodUp builds an all-in-one podcasting platform modeled on the Shopify approach, combining more than 50 podcasting tools including 17 AI-powered features to help creators produce, grow, and monetize podcasts. The company also operates PodAllies, a done-for-you podcast production, marketing, and monetization agency for creators who prefer outsourced production. Founder Nathan Gwilliam launched PodUp after publishing a daily podcast and identifying the need for dozens of disparate technologies. PodUp reported it became cash-flow positive in May 2025 and runs a 35-person team (the announcement references a 35-person team in India). The company highlights customer wins—such as a client reaching #1 on Apple Podcasts—and targets the $35.09 billion podcasting market. PodUp says it will use new funding to accelerate development of its AI-powered tool suite and expand services. PodUp is a software-as-a-service platform offering an all-in-one podcasting solution with 35 integrated modules to create, publish, promote, analyze, and monetize podcasts. The platform is sold via an affordable subscription intended to streamline podcast production and growth for creators. PodUp integrates AI features including SEO generation, suggested reels and shorts, course-creation assistance, and eye-contact correction to simplify and improve content. CEO Nathan Gwillim said the recent funding will be used to improve the PodUp software, add AI functionality, enhance the user experience, and market the product to increase users. The company received an angel investment to accelerate these product and go-to-market efforts. NTAN’s involvement is also expected to provide credibility and experiential capital to help open doors to additional angels and investors.
