The company serves customers including financial institutions, pharmaceutical companies, government departments, retail giants, high‑tech firms and universities. Deployments range from thousands of globally distributed UNIX and Linux servers to managing Macs in a single department. Led by CEO Tom Kemp and based in Sunnyvale, CA, Centrify plans to use new funding to expand distribution and accelerate growth in cloud areas. The company closed a $16M Series D to support those initiatives. Centrify is a Mountain View security software company focused on integrating non-Microsoft platforms with Microsoft Active Directory management services. Its product addresses Active Directory management across heterogeneous environments. Reported customers include the National Institutes of Health, Verizon Wireless, PricewaterhouseCoopers and the University of Chicago. The company has been financing its growth through venture capital and has now completed a new funding round. It raised $15 million in a third round of capital, following $22 million previously raised. No revenue or user metrics were disclosed in the articles.
