Citizen Health plans to launch the first version of its AI Advocate to select communities in Q3 and is introducing a new product for patient advocacy groups while prioritizing hiring AI engineers, product builders, and designers. The company is headquartered in San Francisco and has raised $30 million in Series A funding, bringing total funding to $44 million since its December 2023 launch. Citizen Health operates an AI-powered consumer health platform that captures patients' complete health journeys, including clinical data, genetic information, imaging, and patient-reported outcomes. Its comprehensive knowledge base enables patients to access answers based on others' experiences and gives researchers immediate access to critical information to accelerate drug development. The company says the platform is designed to support over 400 million individuals managing rare and complex conditions. Co-founders Farid Vij and Nasha Fitter drew on personal experiences as patients and caregivers to build a patient-centric product. Citizen Health announced a $14.5 million seed financing and a strategic program investment and partnership with the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative. The company plans to announce additional key partnerships and new product features in the coming months.
