Cleerly

110 16th Street Suite 1400 #104, Denver, CO, 80202, United States

Overview

Cleerly offers FDA-cleared, value-based diagnostic solutions driven by machine intelligence to enable comprehensive phenotyping of coronary artery disease from advanced non-invasive CT imaging. Its technology evaluates coronary CT angiograms to identify, characterize, and quantify atherosclerotic plaque build-up in artery walls, aiming to improve assessment of heart-attack risk versus historical surrogate markers. The company says its approach improves diagnostic certainty for physicians, helps personalize therapeutic choices, and can reduce total costs of care. Cleerly has more than a dozen ongoing multicenter clinical trials and is running an international registry expected to enroll more than 100,000 patients over the next decade. The company plans to expand its team, extend commercial reach to broaden patient and physician access across the continuum of disease presentation, and invest in large-scale outcomes research to establish its model as a standard of care. Financially, Cleerly recently completed a major funding round that materially increases resources for these initiatives. Cleerly provides a digital care pathway that uses non-invasive coronary CT angiography and AI-enabled, FDA-cleared software to phenotype coronary artery disease for heart attack prevention. The platform is built on more than a decade of research from the Dalio Institute for Cardiovascular Imaging at NewYork-Presbyterian and Weill Cornell Medicine, using millions of annotated lab images and over two dozen proprietary algorithms. Cleerly’s research included large-scale clinical trials involving more than 50,000 patients, which underpins its ability to quantify and characterize the presence, extent, severity and type of coronary artery disease. Its solutions include clinician-facing tools that translate advanced imaging into actionable data, patient-facing interactive tools to improve health literacy, and quantitative measures to track disease changes over time. With $43M in Series B financing and total funding of $54M, Cleerly plans to scale commercial reach, expand operational capabilities and strategic partnerships, and continue industry-leading research and development. The company was founded in 2017 and is headquartered in New York City.
