Cloudbrink offers a SaaS software-defined wide-area network (SD-WAN) that combines an end-user app, “fast edges” near users, and software deployed in employers' data centers or cloud to deliver faster, secure connections. Its solution detects degrading networks and preemptively replaces dropped packets to maintain smooth experiences for services like Zoom and Salesforce. The company launched in 2019, spent the first 18 months building the product, and made the service broadly available about ten months ago. Since that release it has onboarded a double-digit number of customers, reached global users in the range of thousands, and reports growth of five- to seven-fold. Cloudbrink currently has 50 employees and says it will scale hiring and build a diverse team as it grows. Today it announced a $25 million investment to support that growth.
