CodeMonkey is a web-based educational games company that has developed an online game teaching children to code using CoffeeScript. The game, suitable for children aged nine and up, has users control a monkey to catch bananas by writing lines of code. It is completely web based and does not require installation. The company is led by CEO Jonathan Schor, COO Yishai Pinchover and CTO Ido Schor, and operates out of Brooklyn, NY and Tel-Aviv, Israel. CodeMonkey raised $1.5M in seed funding to support growth.
