Colibid operates a fintech marketplace that streamlines access to mortgages and matches families with competitive mortgage rates. The company recently closed a €400,000 Seed round to support growth of its Colibid marketplace and international expansion. Colibid developed Extracto.io, an AI-based SaaS that reads and processes thousands of pages across languages and formats to extract accurate data, originally built for its mortgage platform. Management says Extracto.io is being positioned to serve industries with heavy document-processing needs, including logistics, insurance, banking/finance, healthcare, and public administration. The company has expanded its sales team across the UK, USA, Eastern Europe, West Africa and the Middle East and announced its first partnership in Mexico as part of overseas expansion. The new funding is intended to solidify Colibid’s position in the Spanish mortgage market and fuel both marketplace growth and Extracto.io’s commercial rollout.
