Comprimato is a Brno-based provider of JPEG2000 GPU-based compression solutions. Its core product is a GPU-accelerated JPEG2000 compression offering aimed primarily at the digital cinema market. The company supplies solutions to clients including Digimetrics and Stanford University. Founded by Jiri Matela as a spin-off from Prague-based research institute CESNET, Comprimato is also in negotiations with major global players in fields including military and health applications.
