Concorde announced a $2.5m investment led by private equity firm JMI Services with participation from previous investors Panoramic Growth Equity and Elderstreet. The company said the funds will be used to further develop its product suite, expand geographic coverage, and support a sales drive. As part of the deal, experienced tech investor Charles Noell will join Concorde's board. Panoramic Growth Equity indicated it will continue to support Concorde through board involvement as the company broadens its operations. Concorde Solutions is a software asset management firm that developed ComplianceConsole, a custom-built SaaS product designed to deliver software compliance across multiple vendors and identify tangible cost savings. The product supports the company’s consultancy and managed services, providing a solution to manage contractual and financial issues tied to software licensing and vendor subscriptions. Customers include members of the Global Fortune 1000, investment banks, mid-market companies, public sector organisations and charities. The company was established in 2007 by Managing Director Martin Prendergast and Services Director Phil Merson and is based in Reading, UK. Concorde plans to use new capital to launch a new SaaS product in 2012 targeting the data centre and cloud computing markets and to expand its professional and managed services worldwide. The company recently raised funding to support these product and expansion plans.
