ContaÁgil offers a product that combines traditional accounting services with tax-routine management, a digital account for legal entities and a financial-management platform that supports boleto generation and invoice issuance. The company targets small businesses and aims to simplify bureaucracy for entrepreneurs by integrating financial and banking solutions into its platform. Management says recent funding will be used to accelerate customer acquisition and to further improve platform usability and processes. The startup reports a user base growing at about 15% per month and has just surpassed 1,000 active customers. ContaÁgil was created in Canoas (RS) and has incrementally expanded its product and go-to-market efforts via prior investor support. ContaÁgil is a SaaS platform offering 100% online accounting and financial services for small businesses, connecting fintechs, banks, entrepreneurs, accountants and financial advisors. Founded in 2017 by Fábio Pereira, Rubens Oleinski and Diógenes Dorneles da Rosa, the company is active in more than 46 cities across 11 Brazilian states. It plans to expand to all Brazilian states, triple its user base and eventually transform into a fintech. The R$1.3 million investment will be used to strengthen developer and sales teams, add new platform functionalities and differentiated service plans, and connect new solutions and products. Planned product work includes improved interfaces for ME and customized interfaces for MEIs, professional interfaces for accountants and advisors, and an open-banking feature to manage and move digital accounts. Management has opened over 30 positions to support rapid growth and customer-base expansion.
